A combined Hepatitis A Vaccine and Typhoid Vaccination can be given as a single injection that protects you against both conditions. 

Hepatitis A

Is an infectious disease caused by a virus that infects the liver it is spread by person to person contact by eating or drinking contaminated food or water.

It is common in developing countries, it causes fever, jaundice (yellowness off the skin), fatigue and abdominal pain, these symptoms may last for months.

Typhoid

Is an illness transmitted by the ingestion of food or water contaminated with the faeces of an infected person, the bacteria which causes typhoid is called Salmonela Entericia.

Thyphoid is a very serious infection, the symptoms are a high fever, a rash followed by abdominal pain, diarrhoea and delirium, later complications can occur which include internal bleeding and if left untreated even death.


It is therefore of up most importance that you avoid poorly handled food, that you drink only bottled water and that you wash your hands as well as being immunised against this really nasty bug.
